How to find us
Directions from the South (A1M/A66M) - please print this page.
Elm Ridge Methodist Church is situated in the South West corner of Darlington, on the West side of Carmel Road South, a few yards south of its intersection with Coniscliffe Road at the "Elm Ridge Roundabout". The church stands in its own extensive grounds, set back from the road. Leave the A1M (Northbound) by junction 57, following the A66(M) to a large roundabout. Take the first exit continuing along the A66 east over the River Tees and uphill to another large roundabout with a large car saleroom on the right. Take the first (left) exit into a tree-lined road, Carmel Road South (A67). Continue along Carmel Road South for 1km. The church entrance is on the left among trees, a few yards before the petrol station and the next roundabout. Pass between the two stone gate posts along a tree-lined drive. There are ample parking facilities in the grounds.
