Elm Ridge Methodist Church, Darlington
"Compelled by Christ's love to be God's Church in today's world"
The Methodist Church in Darlington
Elm Ridge Methodist Church is part of
Darlington Methodist Circuit, a network of
Christians who belong to The
Methodist Church in Darlington and the surrounding area. We are made up of twelve varied
churches (Christian communities) meeting in various places from the centre of Darlington to the village of North Cowton. We are served by a team of circuit stewards, lay workers and ordained ministers. Information about services, events and details of contacts can be found in the
Circuit Plan, available from any of the churches, or from the circuit office at Elm Ridge.
The emphasis of the Darlington Circuit is on
mission, and is expressed in our Mission Statement from 1 Corinthians Chapter 9 verse 22:
"By all means to save some."
