Healing on the Streets, Darlington - Christians from many local churches offering prayer for healing in the town centre.

Elm Ridge has a link with Sowing Seeds Ministries - helping and caring for offenders, offering them purpose and direction in life.
There are several opportunities to support this vital work by writing letters to prisoners, joining a prayer team, and giving regularly. Prison visits can be arranged through Gram Seed (details from the church office).

Further afield, we have links with Christian workers in Kenya, Benin and the Czech Republic.

We participate in the annual neighbourhood collection for Christian Aid and have also supported the work of TearFund and Send a Cow. There is a Traidcraft stall in the Church Hall on Sunday mornings, and in the church corridor during the rest of the week.
